Centre for Environmental Protection & Cultural Exchange

What we do

CEPCE India conducts activities under multidimensional programs: Agriculture; Clean Energy; Farmer to Farmer; Forestry & Natural Resource Management and Child Education.

To benefit the children of the village of Sarlapalli and create an excellent learning opportunity CEPCE India has taken up educational programs at the local Anganwaadi Centre (Local Educational Centre). The education provided to village kids is free of cost and has been supported by few friends and well wishers.

CEPCE India also promotes Indian culture through “Home Stays” where international students live and participate with Indian families on a day basis and get the real feel of India. We also promote nature camps for students, Corporates and individuals to develop a sense of responsibility towards nature.  Also, an opportunity to get involved in skill-sharing and cultural exchange activities in surrounding villages.

1. Rural & Tribal education

CEPCE India promotes rural and tribal education. Life in tribal areas is calm, serene and at times complacent. CEPCE India works on the complacency factor without festering the serenity and calmness of this life. CEPCE India is imparting education to the children of Sarvapalli. Steps are being taken to start Adult literacy Programmes, too.

2. Computer literacy

CEPCE India believes that Computer literacy will bring the Tribal life closer to the world and vice versa. CEPCE India is mulling over establishing a dedicated computer literacy centre once the village is electrified. At present, basic computer education is being provided with the help of  laptops by the volunteers.

3. Sports school for Tribals ( Archery , marathon and  swimming)

One of the pivotal objectives of CEPCE India is to make the tribals participate in the 2016 Olympics in Archery. The tribals are naturally adept at archery as the bow and arrow serve their needs of survival and defense. CEPCE India is planning to start a Sports school which develops and finetunes the inherent skills of the tribals.

4. Modernizing agriculture

Agriculture is the mainstay of Rural India. The forest supplies the basic needs of the tribals. CEPCE India wants to introduce modernized agriculture without disturbing the ecological balance. This enables the tribals to be self-sufficient to a larger extent at the same time protects the wildlife from becoming food and fodder.

5. Rural tourism

Rural India presents a plethora excitement, adventure, and fun to nature lovers. Most of the places remain unexplored even today. CEPCE India promotes rural tourism by arranging nature camps. The local tribals play the guides and assist the tourists in their stay.

6. Rural employment

Rural Tourism promotes Rural employment. It is in the vested interests of the rural youth that rural tourism is promoted. CEPCE India promotes rural employment. The objective of the programme is to see that the youth are employed at least 240 days a year.
